We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer I to join our New Product Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of low voltage electrical systems for our future vehicles.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop industry-leading zero-emission buses, focusing on component selection, harness design, circuit protection, and power distribution architecture. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop low voltage electrical systems, including harness routing, circuit protection, and power distribution architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement electrical systems that meet project requirements and regulatory standards
- Perform design analysis and lead DFMEA discussions to identify potential risks and implement design changes
- Support production launch activities and continuous product improvements
- Lead Root Cause Analysis efforts and advise stakeholders on technical issues affecting product design and delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of progressive engineering experience
- Direct experience with low voltage system design, signal management, harness routing, circuit protection, and electrical power distribution
- Familiarity with ECAD software, manufacturing processes, and industry standards
We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $275,000 per year, plus premium benefits. Our company is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
