Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the daily operational activities of the DC to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist in achieving the financial targets of the distribution center in alignment with budgetary goals.
  • Foster a culture of trust and open communication among team members.
  • Align team efforts with the strategic vision and effectively communicate the organizational mission and values.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
  • Hold individual meetings with team members to provide guidance and support.
  • Ensure compliance with operational processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain the DC's standards for cleanliness, appearance, and functionality.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the DC.
  • Assist in resolving customer service challenges.
  • Verify payroll accuracy for drivers.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and address discrepancies as needed.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety policies and procedures.
  • Complete all required training and certifications in a timely manner.
  • Manage performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions as necessary.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in monthly meetings to discuss organizational successes and opportunities.
  • Assist in loss prevention and safety audits.
  • Support training initiatives for team members and contract employees.
  • Monitor employee time records and manage leave requests in accordance with policies.
  • Engage in the hiring process for new team members as needed.
  • Lead daily stand-up meetings to set the tone for each shift.
  • Contribute to onboarding and training of new employees.
  • Support company initiatives and special projects as assigned.
  • Stay updated on industry knowledge through educational opportunities.
  • Enhance the department's reputation by taking ownership of new tasks and exploring ways to add value.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Proficient in various physical activities including sitting, standing, walking, and using hands.

Compensation:
Starting salary at $50,000 annually.
