Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students in our vibrant school community.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop personalized treatment plans to address the unique communication needs of each student.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing records in compliance with state regulations.
- Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Stay informed about current research, best practices, and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Florida.
- Certification from the Florida Department of Health as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility for certification).
- Certification from the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in schools (or eligibility for certification).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain.
- Preferred experience working with students in educational settings.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
