Position Summary

In the role of SoyPlus Industrial Electrician, you will be tasked with the upkeep and repair of manufacturing machinery, equipment, and plant systems within the SoyPlus Plant, Elevator, and SoyChlor Plant. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Configuring, modifying, and testing electrical systems within the facility.
  • Programming and replacing variable frequency drives (VFDs).
  • Installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing various electrical equipment, including actuators, conduits, motors, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), starters, switches, valves, wiring, and more.
  • Proposing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance equipment and system design.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Adhering to safety protocols as mandated by Landus Cooperative, OSHA, and other regulatory bodies.
  • And additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications

Required:

  • A valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.
  • Two to four years of electrical or related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with 480/277 and 208/120 volt systems.

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) along with relevant experience and/or training.
  • Proficient computer and mechanical skills.
