Position Overview

As a member of a farmer-owned cooperative, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the productivity and sustainability of agricultural operations. At Landus Cooperative, we are dedicated to empowering farmers and fostering community growth through innovative practices and data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a SoyPlus Industrial Electrician, you will be tasked with the upkeep and repair of various manufacturing equipment and electrical systems within our facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Configuring, modifying, and testing electrical systems throughout the plant.
  • Programming and replacing variable frequency drives (VFDs).
  • Installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of electrical equipment, including motors, actuators, PLCs, and wiring.
  • Proposing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance equipment and system performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Adhering to safety protocols established by Landus Cooperative and regulatory agencies.
  • And additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required:

  • A valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.
  • Two to four years of experience in electrical work or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with 480/277 and 208/120 volt electrical systems.

Preferred:

  • A high school diploma or GED along with relevant experience or training.
  • Proficient computer and mechanical skills.
