Position Overview

Role Responsibilities

In the capacity of an Industrial Electrician at the SoyPlus Plant, you will take charge of the upkeep and repair of manufacturing machinery, equipment, and plant systems. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Electrical System Management: Configure, modify, and test electrical systems within the plant.
  • VFD Programming: Program and replace variable frequency drives (VFDs).
  • Equipment Maintenance: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various electrical equipment such as actuators, conduits, motors, PLCs, starters, switches, valves, and wiring.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance equipment and system design.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations.
  • Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines as mandated by Landus Cooperative and OSHA.
  • And additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.
  • Two to four years of experience in electrical work or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient understanding of 480/277 and 208/120 volt systems.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED along with relevant experience and training.
  • Competence in computer and mechanical skills.
