As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Kansas registered nurse license.
- Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider).
- Completion of ICU orientation & competency assessment.
