Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Restaurant Staff Member to join our team as a Part-Time Prep Cook. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and delivering high-quality food to our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, measuring and mixing ingredients, and handling basic food prep tasks.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring all items are stored properly and surfaces are sanitized.
  • Recipe Execution: Follow recipes and instructions provided by the kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality in our dishes.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Requirements
  • Age and Availability: Must be at least 16 years old and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Work Ethic and Teamwork: Strong work ethic and willingness to learn, with excellent communication skills and a team player attitude.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Previous Experience: Prior kitchen experience is a plus, but not required.
