About The Team

The Finance team is dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency while collaborating with our business partners. We engage in data analysis, record-keeping, and reporting, facilitating strategic decisions essential for business continuity. About The Role

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Corporate Accounting, the Senior Manager - Corporate Accounting will oversee a team of 3-4 accountants, managing crucial aspects of the month-end close process, reconciliation reviews, and internal control monitoring.

This role will also assist the VP Corporate Controller in preparing quarterly and annual reports for regulatory submissions.

While extensive experience in SEC reporting and technical accounting is not mandatory, the ideal candidate should possess a strong willingness to learn complex accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, financial analyses, trial balance reviews, and financial statement preparations.
  • Manage and support direct reports across various workstreams, including Prepaid & Accrued Expenses, Revenue Sales Accounting, Payroll Accounting, and Cash Flow Analysis.
  • Conduct detailed flux analyses of general ledger activities and ensure timely and accurate completion of these analytics.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement in account reconciliations and enhance deliverables related to month-end close and financial statement preparation.
  • Collaborate with external audit firms on audit inquiries and requests.
  • Contribute to the development of key accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and maintain appropriate controls.
  • Assist in preparing SEC footnotes and disclosures through thorough review and preparation of supporting schedules.
  • Support the professional growth and development of the team through hands-on mentorship and individualized coaching.

Compensation Overview

Base Salary Range:
$110,000 – $140,000
Includes an Annual Bonus Program, Equity, 401(k) Profit Sharing, and comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • CPA
  • 8+ years of combined experience in private industry and public accounting
  • Strong knowledge of current US GAAP
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across functions and levels
  • Excellent time management skills, capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Adept at prioritizing multiple deliverables efficiently.
