Interventional Pain Nursing

Role Overview:

This position assists the licensed healthcare team in executing office assessments and procedures by effectively managing patient flow, collecting and documenting patient screening information, and facilitating communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Department Summary:

Based in Nashville, our facility is a premier provider of inpatient rehabilitation services for complex neurological and orthopedic conditions, including stroke, brain injury, and hip fractures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and enhance patient flow and unit operations by ensuring the availability of supplies and maintaining environmental standards.
  • Identify resources to address patient healthcare requirements.
  • Assist in clinical procedures in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Gather and record patient screening data for the healthcare team.
  • Support patient and family education initiatives.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Planning & Organizing: Ability to anticipate resource needs, prioritize tasks, and manage schedules effectively.
  • Clinical Competencies: Basic proficiency in performing clinical tasks such as vital signs, specimen collection, and medication administration.
  • Environment of Care: Familiarity with the setup and maintenance of patient examination areas.
  • Clinical Documentation: Basic experience with clinical applications for patient documentation.
