Sunbelt Rentals, the fastest expanding rental business in North America, is in search of a Staff Accountant.
In this role, you will be responsible for account reconciliations, monthly journal entries, assisting with the monthly closing process, and various special projects.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:This position plays a crucial role in the monthly closing process, ensuring all journal entries are accurately posted and accounts reconciled.
Responsibilities include:• Conducting monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
• Preparing monthly journal entries.
• Assisting with inquiries from Profit Centers.
• Performing additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Excel and Access
• Familiarity with AS400 computer systems
• Starting pay at $28/hour for qualified candidates.
