Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work on complex civil litigation cases, providing you with a platform to showcase your skills and grow your career.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Clients: Represent clients in all aspects of civil litigation, including pre-trial preparation, trial, arbitration, mediation, and appeal.
  • Draft and Review Documents: Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
  • Conduct Legal Research: Conduct legal research and analysis to provide sound legal advice to clients.
  • Develop Strategies: Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal procedures, court rulings, and other legal developments relevant to civil litigation.
  • Business Development: Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and maintain relationships with existing ones.

Qualifications

  • Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation.
  • Admission to the Bar: Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Track Record: Proven track record in successfully managing and resolving civil litigation cases.
  • Skills: Excellent legal research, analysis, and writing skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities, demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality, proficiency in using legal research tools and software, and strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively.
