Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the CT Department at Ascension. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography procedures, collaborating with patients and clinical teams, and maintaining high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform computed tomography procedures, including setup and monitoring of equipment
  • Collaborate with patients and clinical teams to ensure accurate and efficient procedures
  • Document patient information and procedure details
  • Operate computed tomographic equipment and accessories, including daily calibrations and warm-ups
  • Prepare and administer contrast media, as needed
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and manipulate display parameters
  • Maintain archival storage of digitized data
  • Assist in maintaining patient records and respecting confidentiality
  • Report equipment malfunctions and assume responsibility for assigned area
  • Provide instruction and training to students and staff
Requirements
  • Technologist Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 18 months of hire date
  • Requires a graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program with 6 weeks training in CT scanning
  • 1 or more year experience in general Radiology, including 6 to 12 months experience working with CT scanners
