We're seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to join our team at Google Ads. As a key member of our engineering team, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions that meet the needs of our users.

Responsibilities
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code for our products and services.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to ensure the best possible solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Triage and debug issues, and work with the team to resolve them.
  • Contribute to the development of our documentation and educational content.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 2+ years of experience with full stack development, including back-end and front-end technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with:

  • A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with performance, large-scale systems, data analysis, and visualization tools.
  • Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
