Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Operations Manager to join our team at Adelante Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising dental operations staff, managing patient flow, and ensuring the efficient operation of front and back office dental services.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise dental coordinators and collaborate with the dental operations team
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, maintain accurate time and attendance records, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legislation
  • Recruit, interview, orient, train, and mentor staff; organize daily work activities and schedules
  • Identify financial status of patients, refer to eligibility as needed, and participate in monthly staff meetings
  • Oversight of scheduling, billing, and scanning of records; monitor appointments, patient flow, and waiting areas to improve daily productivity
  • Ensure patients and visitors are treated courteously by all staff, document and resolve patient complaints, and establish effective working relationships with internal and external customers

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution plus advanced training with a certification from an accredited Dental Assistant Program
  • Valid certification of completion of Coronal Polishing and X-Ray Certification
  • Minimum four years of dental experience, including dental leadership experience, with a proven ability to solve problems using a logical, systematic approach
  • Demonstrated management, leadership, community relations, diplomacy, and customer service skills; experience in applying continuous quality improvement techniques in service delivery design
  • Proven ability to manage partnerships, promote teamwork, and measure and report departmental cost performance

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
