Assistant Property Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Property Manager to join our esteemed Richman Signature Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring secure and welcoming environments, and fostering a sense of community among our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare resident legal notices and process annual lease renewals
  • Verify lease information accuracy and handle resident inquiries and complaints promptly and courteously
  • Manage work orders and maintain accurate records in Yardi software
  • Conduct unit inspections and manage move-in/move-out processes
  • Assist in leasing activities, resident relations, and social event planning
  • Supervise turnkey operations in the absence of the Property Manager
  • Rent collection, follow up on delinquencies, and resolve accounting discrepancies

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years in the apartment industry, preferably in an Assistant or Leasing position
  • Experience with Luxury communities and Yardi software is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Property Management software (e.g., Yardi)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Fair Employment Housing and EEO laws
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
