Join Our Team as a Certified Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical department, providing exceptional patient care, and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, with a mix of day and weekend shifts. You will be responsible for scrubbing on all cases, including general, gynecology, urology, orthopedic, spine, neuro, plastics, and trauma procedures. You will also be expected to maintain a sterile field during procedures, hand instruments to surgeons, and assist with room turnover and restocking.

Requirements
  • Two years of experience in a surgical setting, required
  • Experience in a specialty field, preferred
  • Basic computer skills, required
  • Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program, required
  • HS Diploma/GED required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required
  • Current registration with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a surgical technologist for associates working in Colorado
  • Certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Certification as a Tech in Surgery (CST) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), required
