About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at KurzSolutions. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and ensuring the sterility of the operating room.
  • Prepare patients for surgery, including administering preoperative medications and ensuring that all necessary equipment is available.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently between hospital units and the operating room.
  • Document patient care and progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families, alleviating anxiety and stress related to surgical procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a certified Surgical Technologist within the last 3 years.
  • Current certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or client standards.
