Job Overview

Position: Quality Assurance Specialist

Our Objective: To ensure the delivery of high-quality products consistently

Viper Northwest, Inc. is a leading organization in precision manufacturing, specializing in the fabrication and machining of parts and assemblies for a diverse range of satisfied clients since 1985.

Our team comprises experienced manufacturing and technical experts dedicated to producing capital equipment and OEM components for various high-tech sectors. We also offer engineering design support and verification, alongside drafting services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Conducting regular inspections and quality assessments.
  • Identifying and resolving production and workflow challenges.
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO/AS standards.
  • Managing document control processes.
  • Engaging in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and 8D problem-solving methodologies.
  • Collaborating with management to address issues and propose solutions.
  • Documenting quality assurance processes and generating audit reports.
  • Recommending improvements for quality enhancement.
  • Creating training materials and operational manuals.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or related fields. Familiarity with US import/export regulations is essential.

Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel (including formulas and macros), Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Crystal Reports.

Language Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret technical documents and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Mathematical Skills: Competence in basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, percentages, and fractions.

Reasoning Ability: Capable of defining problems, analyzing data, and navigating complex situations.

Physical Requirements: This role is primarily sedentary but may require standing and lifting of up to 20 pounds.

Work Environment: Operates in a professional office setting with standard office equipment. This position is eligible for telecommuting.

Position Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt.
