Job Overview

Position: Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Conducting regular inspections and quality assessments.
  • Identifying and resolving production and workflow challenges.
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO/AS standards.
  • Managing document control processes.
  • Engaging in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and 8D methodologies.
  • Collaborating with management to address issues and propose solutions.
  • Documenting quality assurance activities and preparing audit reports.
  • Recommending improvements to existing processes.
  • Creating training materials and operational manuals.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance and compliance. Familiarity with US import/export regulations is essential.

Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel (including formulas and macros), Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Crystal Reports.

Language Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret technical documents and communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

Mathematical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in basic math operations.

Reasoning Ability: Capable of defining problems, analyzing data, and navigating complex situations.

Physical Requirements: This role is primarily sedentary but may require occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.

Work Environment: The position is based in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment. Telecommuting options are available.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
