Property Valuation Specialist Lead

This position is part of the State of Montana's Property Valuation team and is responsible for leading a team of Property Valuation Specialists. The successful candidate will work out of the Bozeman or Ennis field office and may be required to travel 50% of the time to work in all 9 counties within Region 4.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and perform field audit work to facilitate data research, verification, computation, and processing.
- Direct and oversee a range of property appraisal and assessment support functions.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in appraisal and personal property, as well as state and department policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities under deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Office environment with occasional travel.
- May require working hours exceeding 40 hours from time to time, including weekends.
