Job Opportunity: City Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced City Manager to lead our municipal organization and drive economic development in our vibrant community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the effective administration of city services and ensure alignment with the City Council's goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance citizen satisfaction and community engagement.
  • Lead economic development initiatives, including business development and retention planning.
  • Enhance infrastructure by addressing deteriorating and/or substandard roadways and streets.
  • Assess and improve the organizational structure of the municipal organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, engineering, business administration, finance, marketing, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related professional experience in a comparable or larger organization as a Director, Assistant City Manager, or comparable leadership role.
  • Master's degree in public administration and Certification as a Credentialed Manager by the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) preferred but not required.
