Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Security Operations Specialists, often known as Security Guards, play a crucial role in preventing criminal activities, safeguarding property, and enforcing regulations on-site. Some may oversee surveillance systems and alarms from a fixed location, while others conduct patrols and security inspections. In various environments such as factories and offices, Security Operations Specialists ensure the safety of equipment and personnel while verifying the credentials of vehicles and individuals entering and exiting the premises.

Available Security Operations Roles:
  • Device Verification: Scanning tags on authorized employee devices, confirming IMEI numbers on phones to ensure they match the provided documentation.
  • North Dock Oversight: Monitoring waste disposal areas for theft attempts, managing dock door operations, tracking outgoing trucks, counting pallets for incoming shipments, and overseeing loading activities during peak times.
  • South Dock Coordination: Counting pallets for incoming shipments, managing special projects during busy periods, handling email communications, documenting truck information, and overseeing dock door operations.
  • Metal Detection Operations: Checking devices in and out; only authorized devices with appropriate documentation are permitted. Ensuring visitors pass through the x-ray screening. Monitoring the x-ray machine to prevent prohibited items from entering the facility.
  • Patrol Officer: Actively walking throughout the premises to help deter theft attempts.
  • Load Tracking Specialist: Utilizing computer software to monitor all high-value shipments.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas is mandatory.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Experience in report writing.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and surveillance practices.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Must successfully pass a background investigation.
