Job Summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Console Operator to join our security team in Coppell, Texas. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for monitoring the site, ensuring the physical security of assets and personnel, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our associates and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control personnel access into the facility, ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to sensitive areas.
  • Respond to and resolve event alarms triggered by the access control system and CCTV system, ensuring prompt and effective response to security incidents.
  • Conduct regular roving patrol inspections of the facility, both internal and external, to identify and address potential security risks.
  • Maintain accurate records of security incidents, including event logs and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with the Security Management Team to develop and implement security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service to associates and visitors, responding to their security-related inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 5+ years of experience in a security or similar role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
