Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Project Specialist to join our team at MSS Solutions, LLC. As a Fire Alarm Project Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation and certification of fire / life safety product lines, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Certification: Perform installation and certification of fire / life safety product lines, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Guidance and Quality Control: Guide the installation process and ensure that all work meets the required standards for quality and safety.
  • System Modifications: Add devices to existing systems and adequately certify the system after any modification.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make minor repairs and programming changes as required to keep systems operational and reliable.
  • Customer Interaction: Interact with customers or general contractors to ensure that work is performed as expected and on schedule.
  • Communication and Coordination: Communicate schedule ability, material needs, or any job-related issues with the Project Management team.
  • Task Completion: Complete assigned tasks on time.
  • Emergency Response: Support after-hours emergency service call-out on a rotational basis.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: Two years of experience in commercial/industrial fire alarm system installation.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Diagnostic Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical and parts manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Must be able to work on lifts and ladders.
  • Tools and Equipment: Must possess basic hand tools.
