Key Responsibilities- Conduct analytical testing and investigations to determine the root cause of quality nonconformance issues.
- Receive and test bulk products, including raw and heat-treated dairy ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including GMPs and SOP procedures.
- Maintain area cleanliness and report any issues or concerns.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and contribute to the development of new procedures and processes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety requirements, including Housekeeping, Lock Out/Tag Out, PPE, and facility safety efforts.
- Assist in maintaining SQF readiness and HACCP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience in a laboratory or quality assurance role.
- Knowledge of GMPs and SOP procedures.
- Experience with LIMS and other laboratory software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
