Job Title: Large Model Algorithm Engineer/Developer

NIO Inc. is a pioneering company in the premium smart electric vehicle market, dedicated to shaping a joyful lifestyle. As a Large Model Algorithm Engineer/Developer, you will be part of a team that designs, develops, and manufactures premium smart electric vehicles, driving innovations in next-generation technologies, including autonomous driving, digital technologies, electric powertrains, and batteries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement multi-modal interaction algorithms and functional applications for digital cockpits, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as End-to-end, all-in-one (NLP, Audio, CV) large models.
  • Explore and develop the core algorithms of large language models, optimizing and applying them across various NIO businesses.
  • Experiment with the application paradigm of large model agents in digital cockpit scenarios and assist in the research and development of large-scale landing tools.
Requirements:
  • PhD/MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Artificial Intelligence-related fields.
  • Proficiency in C++/Python/JAVA programming and experience with mainstream frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with NLP, Audio, and CV-related algorithms and technologies.
  • Relevant training and usage work experience with large models (e.g., ChatGPT, LLaMA, Wenxin, Qianwen) is preferred.
  • Internship experience in first-tier large model companies (e.g., OpenAI, Microsoft, Baidu, Alibaba) is preferred.
  • High-level paper publications in top conferences (e.g., ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, Interspeech, ICASSP, CVPR, ECCV, ICCV) are preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000 - $220,000.
