Job Title: Large Model Algorithm Engineer/Developer

NIO Inc. is a pioneering company in the premium smart electric vehicle market, dedicated to shaping a joyful lifestyle. As a Large Model Algorithm Engineer/Developer, you will play a crucial role in driving innovations in next-generation technologies for autonomous driving, digital technologies, electric powertrains, and batteries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement multi-modal interaction algorithms and functional applications for digital cockpits, including directions such as ECNR, NLP, and CV.
  • Explore cutting-edge technologies in the EV digital cockpit industry, such as End-to-end, all-in-one (NLP, Audio, CV) large models, and conduct feasibility verification for their application in digital cockpit scenarios.
  • Develop the core algorithms of large language models, optimize, and apply them for various NIO businesses.
  • Experiment with the application paradigm of large model agents in digital cockpit scenarios and assist in the research and development of large-scale landing tools.
Requirements:
  • PhD/MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or artificial intelligence-related fields.
  • Familiarity with basic statistical learning and deep learning algorithms, with a solid mathematical foundation and excellent grades.
  • Proficiency in at least one C++/Python/JAVA programming language and its application.
  • Familiarity with NLP, Audio, and CV-related algorithms and technologies, proficient in using mainstream frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, etc.
  • Relevant training and usage work experience of large models (such as ChatGlm, LLaMA, Wenxin, Qianwen, etc.) are preferred.
  • Internship experience in first-tier large model companies such as OpenAI, Microsoft, Baidu, or Alibaba are preferred.
  • High-level paper publications are preferred, including but not limited to ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, Interspeech, ICASSP, CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, etc.
Compensation and Benefits:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000 - $220,000. Along with competitive pay, as a full-time NIO employee, you are eligible for various benefits, including medical plans, dental and vision plans, 401(k), and more.
