Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Office Specialist to join our team at Providence Medical Group. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients and visitors, ensuring a positive first impression of our practice.
  • Manage patient schedules, appointments, and referrals, ensuring timely and efficient communication with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Verify patient demographics and insurance information, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records.
  • Collect co-payments and outstanding patient balances, maintaining a high level of professionalism and courtesy.
  • Ensure patients are scheduled for follow-up appointments and annual well visits, promoting continuity of care and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous front office experience or background in general office work preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend established office routines and policies, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to operate a computer and learn new software applications quickly.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems, including CPT and ICD-10.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements.
