About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Account Director to join our Arts and Culture team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing large-scale communications strategies for our clients in the arts and culture industry. This includes creating and implementing media relations plans, managing client relationships, and leading a team of junior staff.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies for clients in the arts and culture industry
- Manage client relationships and provide exceptional service to ensure client satisfaction
- Lead a team of junior staff and provide guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery
- Conceptualize and pitch new story angles and media opportunities for clients
- Work closely with senior team leaders to ensure efficient team operations and capacity planning
- At least 6 years of experience in strategic communications, preferably in the arts and culture industry
- Strong understanding of the art world and a demonstrated personal interest in visual and performing arts
- Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to provide examples of pitches and other materials
- At least 1 year of experience managing a client team or equivalent
- Versatile writer with the ability to write in an informal, conversational tone and address people formally when necessary
BerlinRosen offers a competitive industry rate salary band with a goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. Account Directors are eligible for end-of-year bonuses based on firm, team, and individual performance. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a 4% employer match, and generous paid time off.
