Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System, Inc. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures using ultrasound equipment to aid in the diagnosis of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Assess patient conditions and prepare them for exams, ensuring accurate and complete documentation
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with departmental standards
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest ultrasound technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited ARDMS program preferred
  • Passing of Physics (SPI) exam and achievement of ARDMS registry within one year of hire
  • Minimum one year of experience in ultrasound imaging or a related field
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work independently and effectively with others
