- Elementary Special Education Support Specialist Job Description
- The Elementary Special Education Support Specialist assists in addressing the educational, behavioral, social-emotional, physical, and daily living requirements of elementary students with disabilities in integrated, resource, self-contained, and community environments. Aids in conducting assessments, multimedia activities, recordkeeping, computer operation, discipline, and other related tasks. May assist with the lifting and transportation of students, as well as daily living activities such as toileting, diapering, feeding, and personal hygiene as trained and directed.
- Multi-Intensive Autism (MI-A) Center Program Job Description
- Facilitates and manages a self-contained classroom for students with autism spectrum disorders, focusing on the development of academic, social-emotional, and adaptive behavior skills.
- Must possess the ability, with or without accommodations, to meet the physical demands of the position. For Special Education positions, physical demands are outlined in the relevant guidelines.
