Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Staff is responsible for various equipment and facility maintenance needs. This role will pay a competitive hourly wage.

Located in the heart of downtown Providence, our venue is within walking distance to restaurants, hotels, shops, art galleries, night clubs, museums, and more.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate records of labor time, parts used, and work accomplished through daily logs and maintenance software.
- Performing a variety of corrective and preventive maintenance.
- Communicating work issues with Maintenance and Operations staff.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, show drawings, and manufacturer's specifications to determine job requirements and procedures.
- Performing inspections to ensure proper safety on various equipment.
- Executing general repairs and adjustments to equipment used in building and maintenance work.
- Liaising between Maintenance and Operations teams to facilitate shared use of specialized engineering tools.
Requirements include a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of basic general maintenance experience and availability to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
