Maintenance Technician

Rapidly growing health club chain Planet Fitness is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team in Franklin, MA. This full-time position offers a competitive starting rate of $18 per hour, with opportunities for advancement based on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including painting, equipment repairs, and cleaning. A valid driver's license and basic computer skills are required. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. This role will be based out of the Franklin, MA location, with regular travel to other Planet Fitness clubs in the area.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, equipment repairs, and cleaning
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facilities as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver's license required
Basic computer skills desired
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights

Basic computer skills desired for updating ticketing system and communicating with team members
