Cellar Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cellar Technician to join our team at a reputable winery in Sonoma, California. As a Cellar Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our cellar facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow safe cellar practices and procedures.
  • Perform production line and cellar sanitization.
  • Receive bulk wine trucks and assist with tank changes.
  • Run initial lab analysis to check specifications and adjust wine specifications as needed.
  • Maintain good communication within the cellar team and cross-functionally with other departments.
  • Work overtime as needed, including Saturdays.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of previous winery experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of winery equipment and winery SOPs.
  • Excellent English skills; ability to read/write Spanish is a plus.
  • Valid CA driver's license; must be 21 years or older.
  • Computer experience is a plus.
  • HACCP or ISO training is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
