Position Summary:
The Respiratory Manager will be responsible for fostering relationships with both new and existing DME clients while ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of incoming orders. This role involves overseeing the respiratory department and managing all related functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and evaluate daily activities of Service Associates, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders and training as needed.
- Provide support to Service Associates by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Manage the work schedules of Service Associates to effectively handle all incoming client and referral communications.
- Oversee the compliance monitoring for CPAP/BiPAP patients.
- Act as the first point of contact for resolving customer and referral complaints, as well as special requests.
- Conduct or assist the Director with annual performance reviews for Service Associates.
- Monitor phone queues to ensure adequate coverage.
- Regularly review Hold and Open Order reports for operational efficiency.
- At least 2 years of management experience in a dynamic office environment, preferably within the DME or healthcare sector.
- Exemplary customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up capabilities.
- Ability to lift and handle equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel (including Pivot Tables).
- A Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Brightree software is advantageous.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
