HealthCare Connections, Inc. is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Portland, Oregon.

Job Summary:

The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for operating and providing high-quality computerized tomography to patients in a safe manner for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures
  • Position patients and answer any questions they have regarding the procedure
  • Ensure the proper dose of radionuclides are administered, starting IV lines if needed
  • Monitor patient discomfort throughout the procedure
  • Review images for quality
  • Accurately document the procedure and update patient records

Requirements:

  • Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists --OR-- National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography within 1 year of hire --OR--National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board within 1 year of hire.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1 year experience as a registered technologist performing CT scan and X-ray
