About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at A2. As a key member of our fleet operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair issues with City vehicles, including routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Fabrication and Modification: Fabricate vehicle components and features for City use, utilizing your skills in welding and fabrication.
  • Diagnostic Expertise: Utilize your technical knowledge to diagnose problems with City vehicles, ensuring timely and effective repairs.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, CDL-B (with air brake endorsement) upon hire, and State of Michigan Master Mechanic Certification - Automobile/Light Truck or Heavy-Duty Truck, with one of the following specialties: Hydraulics, Water Systems, Alternative Fuel Systems, Small Engine/Light Equipment, Heavy Equipment, Heavy Truck Transmission, or Fire Apparatus.
