We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center. As a key member of our Infusion Unit and ambulatory practices, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to oncology patients in the outpatient setting, including hematology and oncology disorders.
- Collaborate with primary disease center providers to care for complex oncology patients awaiting hospital admission.
- Work closely with nursing staff to provide complex care coordination and symptom management through indirect patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current licensure in the commonwealth of Massachusetts as a certified NP/PA.
- DEA and MCSR certification required.
- At least 3 years of experience as an APP in oncology, with a preference for hematologic malignancies experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
