KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet all guests with warmth and professionalism, opening doors and offering a friendly welcome.
  • Assist guests with their luggage during both arrival and departure, ensuring careful handling and timely delivery.
  • Facilitate transportation arrangements for guests, including taxis and shuttles, while providing necessary directions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance, lobby, and surrounding areas to uphold a welcoming environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activities or security issues to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
  • Collaborate with front desk, bell services, and concierge teams to enhance guest service and support hotel operations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in customer service, particularly within the hospitality sector, is advantageous.
  • Maintain a vigilant and attentive demeanor, especially during busy periods.
  • Ability to manage entrance telephone inquiries, providing clear and accurate information.
  • Proficient in communicating directions to local attractions and services.
  • Capable of answering questions and offering assistance regarding hotel services and local amenities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended durations.
  • Capability to lift and carry heavy luggage and items, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions as necessary.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
