Palliative Care Physician Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Palliative Care Physician to join our team at Renown Health. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a medical professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families affected by serious illnesses.

Key Responsibilities: Provide consultation and care to individuals with complex medical needs, focusing on pain and symptom management, as well as emotional and spiritual support. Work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, communicate effectively with patients and families, and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in palliative medicine.

Requirements: Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine through the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). Must possess and maintain a current and valid State of Nevada Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic (DO) medicine license. Controlled substance License to Prescribe issued by the State of Nevada and Controlled Substance Registration Certificate issued by the DEA required.

Salary: The salary range for this position is $250,000 - $350,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
