The role of Affordable Housing Assistant Community Director at FPI Management, Inc. is a highly responsible position that involves assisting the Community Director in managing day-to-day property operations and maximizing revenue potential.

Job Overview

FPI Management, Inc. is a leading provider of multifamily property management services. As an Affordable Housing Assistant Community Director, you will be working closely with the Community Director to ensure the smooth operation of the property and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relations:
    • Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders by carrying out the philosophies and wishes of the owner in daily operations.
  • Communication:
    • Effectively communicate with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests while representing FPI Management, Inc.
    • Maintain open communication channels with the immediate supervisor regarding work progress and any challenges or suggestions for improvement.
  • Employee Management:
    • Supervise on-site staff, including Resident Services Coordinators, Compliance Specialists, Leasing Managers, and Maintenance Technicians.
    • Assist with training and onboarding of new leasing team members.
  • Leasing/Occupancy:
    • Implement strategies to maintain occupancy levels as established by budget expectations.
    • Exhibit professional leasing techniques and ensure timely completion of lease agreements.
    • Assist with market surveys and analysis to inform leasing decisions.
    • Promote resident retention programs and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with risk management policies and procedures.
    • Report any injuries, illnesses, or property damage promptly.
  • Facility Maintenance:
    • Assist residents with reporting maintenance needs and document facility and maintenance requests.
    • Monitor physical assets and identify concerns with the immediate supervisor.
  • Other:
    • Enforce community rules and regulations fairly and consistently.
    • Comply with all Fair Housing Laws and company policies.
    • Promote a professional image by adhering to the company's dress code policy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, management, or a related field).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar supervisory role within residential property management.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance, and an operable vehicle meeting company standards.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Apps, property management software, email, and internet usage.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
