In this position, you will engage closely with product and technology stakeholders to standardize and modernize our identity technology infrastructure. We seek a candidate with profound knowledge in information security, encompassing a wide range of technologies across on-premises, SaaS, and cloud settings.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide architectural leadership in security for enterprise-wide technology projects, balancing both IT and business requirements. Build relationships with senior IT executives and technology vendors to enhance architectural solutions. Define and execute reference architectures and technology roadmaps. Create proof-of-concept prototypes and initial implementation frameworks. Ensure that implementations adhere to security architecture and design principles. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders. Promote the adoption of IAM, cloud, and on-premise security architectures. Mentor and guide junior enterprise architects. Serve as a subject matter expert in IAM and security architecture. Engage in governance discussions and contribute to key decision-making processes. Develop strategies to address emerging threats and technological advancements.Required Qualifications:
Extensive experience in identity and access management (IAM) strategies, particularly in cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, AWS). Proficiency in IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID) and federation technologies (ADFS, Ping Identity). Skilled in cloud security and governance tools, including Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASBs). Comprehensive understanding of Azure AD and its integration with enterprise systems. Familiarity with Directories, Single Sign-On (SSO), Federation, Delegated administration, API gateways, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) services. Strong grasp of Information Security across various sectors, including Digital, Financial Services, Cloud, Fintech, and B2B.About Pearson:
