Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with approved practices and department policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Understand the principles of ultrasound technology and the instruments used to generate and display acoustic information, applying this knowledge to optimize patient care.
  • Monitor patients' well-being during exams, recognizing and responding to signs of discomfort or medical issues.
Requirements
  • Completion of an Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma
  • Preferred: Passing the SPI exam, current ARDMS certifications or ARRT (S), or ARDMS Registry / ARRT (S) Eligibility
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
