Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for members with acute or chronic mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with treating physicians, psychiatric professionals, and allied health teams to plan and direct individual member treatment programs.
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices and psychotherapy research methods.
  • Conduct mental health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Develop and conduct psychoeducational classes and groups, promoting member education and support.
  • Prepare and maintain confidential records, adhering to state and NCQA regulations.
  • Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation, contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) certification.
  • Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and professional board standards related to member treatment, patient rights, and member/patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment, with a commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a highly interactive multidisciplinary clinic.
