Job Summary:

As a licensed clinical social worker, you will provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to adult and child members. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical treatment programs for members with acute or chronic mental illness.
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Instruct and counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans and medication regimens.
  • Administer specialized therapeutic procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in staff conferences and departmental program development.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • License to practice as a clinical social worker in California.
  • Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and professional board standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team.
  • Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy.
  • Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity.
