Primary Care Non-Operative Orthopedics Physician Opportunity

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Board Certified or Board Eligible Non-Operative Orthopedic physician to join our team at Trinity Health. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Evaluation:
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, from acute injuries to chronic disorders.
- Conduct thorough patient examinations, including interpreting diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
- Treatment:
- Recommend and administer non-surgical treatments including, but not limited to, physical therapy referrals, bracing, joint injections under ultrasound guidance, administration of cutting-edge orthobiologic treatments (stem cells, PRP).
- Provide pain management advice and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Patient Education:
- Educate patients on their conditions, outlining both surgical and non-surgical treatment options.
- Advise on injury prevention, ergonomic practices, and exercises to improve mobility and strength.
- Consultation and Referral:
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons to identify cases that might require surgical intervention.
- Refer patients to other medical specialists when their conditions demand treatments outside the realm of orthopedics.
- Other Duties:
- Maintain comprehensive, timely, and up-to-date medical records.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the practice's continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
- Graduate of an Emergency Medicine Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship preferred.
- Training or extensive experience in non-operative orthopedics or sports medicine.
- Valid state medical license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
