About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our team at CEVA Logistics. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for securing new Contract Logistics business through a targeted and clearly defined sales approach for new clients across North America.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract logistics sales, with a proven track record of successfully targeting supply chain leaders from large MNCs and converting leads into significant business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales plans and sales campaigns to take advantage of market opportunities
  • Work with a wide range of stakeholders, across CEVA North America and other CEVA clusters, to develop compelling and integrated supply chain solutions
  • Clearly articulate the CEVA value proposition for Contract Logistics
  • Generate sales leads and participate in networking opportunities for MNCs and large North America-based companies, within the assigned market vertical
  • Ensure lead and opportunity pipelines have sufficient revenue to drive budgeted top line growth for CEVA
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Marketing, or a technical field
  • 7+ years' contract logistics sales experience working for a tier 1 3PL
  • Hunter mentality with demonstrable experience of successfully targeting supply chain leaders from large MNCs and converting leads into significant business opportunities
  • Multi-year experience of working with companies in one or more of the following sectors: Consumer & Retail, Technology, Automotive, Industrial, Aerospace, or Healthcare
