This position is a contract role that requires on-site presence during weekdays.

As a Furniture Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be pivotal in upholding the quality and integrity of our furniture offerings. This role is vital for sustaining the high standards associated with our exclusive and specialty brands. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections of furniture, verifying product specifications, ensuring the precision of visual representations, and more. Furthermore, you will contribute to the creation of engaging product videos that illustrate the appeal of our furniture selections. Your knowledge of home furnishings, meticulous attention to detail, and comfort in front of the camera will be essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality assessments of assembled furniture at our warehouses.
  • Verify that product details, including schema tags and imagery, are accurate.
  • Collaborate with creative and video production teams to develop videos that effectively showcase the features and advantages of selected furniture items.
  • Apply your understanding of furniture design principles to assess and suggest enhancements.
  • Present confidently on camera while reading from a teleprompter.
  • Engage with various stakeholders, including suppliers and warehouse teams, to ensure product quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure consistent and reliable data collection.
  • Achieve or surpass established targets for the number of products assessed and videos produced.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the home furnishings sector, furniture design, or related retail environments.
  • Comfortable presenting on camera and proficient in reading from a teleprompter. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of furniture design principles are essential.
  • Able to commit to a month-long contract, working 40 hours per week on-site.
  • Self-motivated with a genuine enthusiasm for furniture and home decor. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
