We are seeking a skilled Activity Therapist to join our team at South Sound Behavioral Hospital. As an Activity Therapist, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing activity services for our patients, working closely with our interdisciplinary treatment team to define and achieve treatment goals.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement activity services for assigned programs, including music, art, recreation, and occupational therapy
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team
  • Provide continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational, Art, Music, or Recreational Therapy, or a related field
  • Certification or licensure in a relevant therapeutic discipline
  • At least one year of experience in a psychiatric setting, with knowledge of patient care techniques and mental illness
  • CPR Certification and CPI training
